PUTERI SALAT / SERIMUKA

Hari ini saya nak attachkan resipi Puteri Salat (Serimuka). Kebetulan seorang teman telah request saya menyiapkan kuih ini. Here's the pic & recipe. Kalau nak cuba, silakan.



PUTERI SALAT / SERIMUKA

Untuk Lapisan Bawah
600 gm beras pulut (1 mangkuk)
1 cawan kelapa parut (putih)
80 gm kacang lepat (rebus hingga ¾ masak)
1 mangkuk santan cair (saya gunakan 100 ml krim santan KARA + air)
garam secukup rasa
daun pandan

Cara:
Kukus pulut bersama santan ,garam dan daun pandan selama kira-kira 20 minit hingga pulut tanak. Masukkan kelapa dan kacang lepat lalu digaul rata. Sapukan sedikit minyak di sekeliling loyang bulat 32 atau 34cm dan tuang pulut tadi ke dalamnya. Tekan pulut hingga mampat. Kukus lagi selama kira-kira 10 minit. Setelah itu masukkan serikaya (lapisan atas) dan kukus lagi hingga kira-kira 30-40 minit.

Untuk Lapisan Atas (Serikaya)
5-6 helai daun pandan (dihiris)
115 ml santan cair (½ cawan)
( Kisar halus, perah patinya hingga menjadi kira-kira 150ml )

550 ml (2½ cawan) santan pekat- saya gunakan krim santan KARA
420 gm (1¾ cawan) cawan gula
6 biji telur (saiz besar AAA, kalau kecil 8 biji) –dikocok sedikit
6 sudu makan tpg gandum
1 sudu teh garam
sedikit pewarna hijau (optional)
½ sudu teh pandan paste (optional)

Cara:
Satukan semua bahan di atas lalu dikacau rata. Kemudian tapis dan curahkan ke atas pulut tadi.

Rajinnya bro blend pandan to get the juice. Kalau mama ler, tak kuasa! Hehehe...mama just cebur pandan essence and green color je. Tho the taste and aroma will be slightly different, but it suits my malas-ness! Hahaha....Tengok kacang tu kan, teringat kan aruah my nanny's lepat kacang...

Yang ini ishzah pun suka tau...tapi anak saudara tak suka kekacang ...itu yg tak taruk kacang...but still the taste gud:)

Mamafami> masa membuat ni mmg tgh rajiiinn sgt. Lagipun, order dari teman. Kalau sendiri makan , maybe ada malas sketlah. Motto saya selalu : kalau nak kasi org makan biarlah yg terbaik. heheh..

Thanks for de compliment anonymous. Semua mahluk Tuhan ada kelebihan dan keistimewaannya. Alhamdulillah, saya di'pinjamkan' sedikit bakat ni, jadi bolehlah saya manfaatkan pd semua yg berminat. Thanks for your DOA tu, Insya'allah Tuhan makbulkan yer.

Salam Bro Rozzan, kita nak tanya utk 1 mangkok santan cair ni sukatan dlm gram brapa ya. Kita tak pandai kalau ikut sukatan mcm ni..cuma tau guna gm,ml,sudu dan cawan sukatan aja. Terima kaseh Bro Rozza.

WS. Actually, selalunya setelah saya bubuh beras pulut tu kat dalam apa pun saiz mangkuk, saya tandakan paras pulut kat mangkuk tu. Then saya gunakan mangkuk yg sama utk menyukat air. Macam kita sukat beras, 1 tin susu beras, kta amik 1 tin susu air jugakkan. harap maklum, kalau kurang faham kasitau lg ya..

Hi, I just came across yr blog and find it interesting...i try the pitri salat tapi the srikaya took too long to masak....when did i go wrong??? it was still watery after more than an hour....kesian i

Hi! I'm so sorry to hear that. But Insya'allah, if you follow closely what is asked in the recipe, you will never go wrong.

Maybe, the eggs u used are small ones whereas I normally use the big ones. Another alternative methos is for you to cook the "serimuka", the top layer in a pot at a very low gas heat till it thickens a little before pouring it onto the pulut which has been compressed and levelled in a mould ya!

Give it another try ya! Don't give up!

I also want to let you know that i tried yr marble cake susu...hmmmmm turn out fantastic, would you believe the whole family loved it and I baked it again for raya!!! Thanks bro not one of them had any complain abt the cake, i rasa mcm pro gitu!!! hehehe....only set back is the top of the cake crack.
