CHOCOLATE BUN



















Did this chocolate buns last night.
CHOCOLATE BUNS
Ingredients A :
250 gm bread flour
250 gm Hong Kong flr
30 gm milk powder
30 gm cocoa powder
100 gm caster sugar
11 gm dried yeast (1 sachet)
1 whole egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp bread softerner
100gm golden & black raisins
Ingredients B :
250 ml water
80 gm butter
Method :
1. Mix well ingredients A.
2. Add in water and knead to form a soft dough.
3. Add in butter and knead again till dough is soft and elastic.
4. Divide the dough into 50 gm balls each.
5. Shape the dough to your liking.
6. Leave them to prove till double in size (abt 30 -40 mins)
7. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree celsius till golden brown (abt 15- 20 mins)
8. Once out of the oven, brush buns with butter.

salam Bro,

this morning i tried making this chocolate bun but not successful, the dough tak naik langsung and melekit...I replace the prune with choc chips, could this be the caused? plse advise where did i go wrong. thks in advance.

WS. Sorry to hear that the choc bread didnt turn out right for you. Kalau nk buat roti, take note; Setelah u satukan bahan2 kering (A), bila bubuh air tu sedikit demi sedikit ke dalamnya, pastikan adunan menjadi sebati, licin dan tak melekit di keliling mangkuk mixer tu. Saya gunakan dough hook dan pukul selama kira2 8-10 minit. Kalau u uli pakai tangan, make sure ia nya tak melekat pada tangan anda. Setelah itu barulah, dibubuh mentega sedikit demi sedikit dan uli lagi sehingga adunan rata dan licin, abt 8-10 minit jugak.

Pernah satu kali tu, saya lupa ttg perkara ni. Lepas masukkan air ke dalam adunan tepung, bila tpg dah rata jer(abt 3-4 minit), saya pun bubuh mentega. Pastu dah rata saya pun peraplah. Tunggu punya tunggu, sampai 3-4 jam pun doh tk naik sbb adunan tak cukup uli. So take note k.

Pasal tukar ganti prune, kismis, etc =tu no problem ya.

i dah cube resepi ini. mmg sedap.
cuma i nak tanya satu, kenapa roti i kulit atas nampak kering. dan merekah. you punya, nampak cantik dan kilat sama seperti bun2 yang dijual dipasaran.

suhu 180c
masa 20 min.

ada bhn yg i tak ada,cth tepung hong kong and bread improver.
