ROTI JOHN SEMPOI



Pagi ni buat Roti John ringkas & sempoi jer. Bahan-bahan pun main agak2 & campak2. Cuci mata jer arr...


ROTI JOHN (dgn corned beef)

Bahan A
1 bantal roti perancis (di belah dua memanjang atau ikut suka)
sedikit majerin
(setelah roti dibelah, sapukan permukaannya dgn sedikit majerin)

Bahan B
1/2 tin corned beef (jenama CARTERS)- hancurkan
3-4 biji telur
2 biji bawang besar (potong dadu)
1 btg cili merah (hiris )
1 btg cili hijau (hiris)
sedikit serbuk lada putih atau lada hitam
secubit garam


minyak utk menggoreng roti
1 btg timun (hiris)
sedikit sos mayonis dan sos cili

Cara:
1) Masukkan semua Bahan B ke dalam mangkuk dan gaul rata.
2) Panaskan kuali leper dan titiskan sedikit minyak keseluruh kuali.
3) Sapukan bahan daging/telur tadi ke atas roti dan masak di atas kuali tadi. Sekali sekala titiskan minyak agar roti tak kering/keras.
4) Sesudah masak, angkat dan hidangkan dgn sos cili dan mayonis.

    Your roti john tasted so much better when I added homemade chilli paste ( about 2 tablespoons) to the mixture and gaul rata all of them before spreading on the roti and panfry.
    Also using cooked minced meat( like beef or mutton) instead of corned beef gave equally good results!

    Well, glad to know it turned out good with the chilli paste. Actually there are many variations to the Roti John recipe. So far, I have tried to keep to its original taste. As for using cooked meat, my other roti john recipe (previous entry) used that. Thanks for sharing.
