What I had for yesterday's dinner. A simple dish of Beef Mee Rebus (traditional Mee Rebus with lots of lean beef meat!) . Its been a long time since I made this local favourite. The difference is that, I omitted the mandatory dried small shrimps (udang gragau) and instead used the normal dried shrimps and beef. Also, though we are not Javanese, 'tempe' (fermented soya bean), 'tahu' (bean curd) and 'bagedel' (potato fritters) were also included in this Mee Rebus dish. My children loved them! The basic recipe for Mee Rebus is already in my previous entry somewhere in 2006. So, now just the pics, heheh.
this is what my portion is! a little heavy though.... hope it doesn't affect my dieting, heheh...
Look delicious! Sedaaapnyer...
