APAM PISANG KUKUS / STEAMED BANANA CAKE

Pisang mas yg ku beli dah beberapa hari usianya. Daripada hijau hinggalah kuning. Masih gak kat dapur tu- mcm takde yg sentuh. What the heck, janji siap dan pisang tu tak terbuang gitu saja. OK ler tu! So, I copied a recipe from Diana Arshad's blogspot but with a little modification... (Thanks for sharing D- apam tu turned out very nice... )

APAM PISANG KUKUS (DianaA)

Ingredients :
2 cups flour
8 ripe bananas ( I used 12 as the bananas I used are not so big)
3/4 cups margarine ~ melted and cooled - I used 150 ml canola-olive oil
4 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1 cup sugar ( I used lesser sugar - 200 gm)
a pinch of salt

Method :
1. Sift flour with baking powder.
2. Mash the bananas and put in bicarbonate of soda. Mix well.
3. Beat eggs with sugar. Add in melted margarine.(oil)
4. Add in flour. Mix well.
5. Add in the mashed bananas and mix well.
6. Pour mixture into a well greased bundt pan.
7. Steam for 45 minutes.

Note : To prevent water from dripping onto the cake, cover the steamer lid with a piece of cloth or towel
